The Divestment movement has it's roots in the anti-apartied campaign on South Africa -- and it changed the world.  Corporations and investors pulled their funds out and weakened the oppressive government. 

Now we have foundations, universities, churches who are taking a stand against the fossil fuel industry.  You can't teach about climate change on one hand, and then invest pension money in greenhouse gas producing firms with the other hand. 

What is certain is we will get what we invest in.  Invest in coal, oil and gas -- and we get climate change.  Invest in clean energy and energy efficiency, and we can change the course.
