What is Community Choice Energy (CCE)?  It is a program that brings choice and competition into the electricity marketplace. Right now SDG&E has a monopoly on that market. Also known as Community Choice Aggregation (CCA), it opens the market by allowing cities and counties to purchase power on behalf of their residents and businesses. It is also the most effective vehicle to get to our citywide goal of 100% renewable energy. Read more about  Community choice here.

We hope you will join us on September 1st for an important presentation and discussion about Community Choice Energy. During this Climate Chat, you’ll learn more about what it is, why SDG&E plans to fight it, how groups are working together and what you can do to get involved.

Refreshments and socializing at 6:30 pm and the program will begin at 7:00 pm.P1010241
