Labor unions and environmentalists don’t always see eye-to-eye… or do they?

Join us for this free and informative presentation on the labor landscape here in San Diego! Join to hear AFT (American Federation of Teachers) political director Jim Miller highlight the in’s and out’s of labor unions. We’ll talk about the different labor unions in San Diego, how the Labor Council works, and an exciting new venture at the Labor Council on environmental issues! Which labor unions should environmentalists be partnering with? What are issues on which we can find common ground? How do unions make decisions?

Join to have all your questions answered by a veteran in this field.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about this topic, forming partnerships with our neighbors, and learning how to be politically savvy on a crucial topic.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP!
