Join us to call on President Obama (who is in San Diego a fundraiser), to use his last months in office to keep fossil fuels in the ground. He can call a stop to the Dakota Access Pipeline, prevent leasing any new federal lands for oil, gas and coal extraction, and more.

The Pres will drive by “sometime” in the morning so we’re starting at 7 am. You could probably arrive at 8 and maybe later but parking will be harder and at some point they’ll shut down roads for the Pres’ motorcade. We’ll move closer to the actual address (9706 La Jolla Farms Rd) as the time approaches.

We’ll stand on a corner near the fundraiser he is headlining to raise awareness as his motorcade goes by and hopefully get local media.

NOTE: Parking is tough up by UCSD. Our best guesses:

  • La Jolla Shores south of Azul St. (north of there is only 2-hr parking)
  • Torrey Pines Rd or La Jolla Scenic Drive south of La Jolla Village Dr (a 10+ min walk)
  • Paid parking on the UCSD campus in Parking Lot #103 (East side of Torrey Pines a couple of blocks south of the action, buy a ticket from the machine – $2 per hour)

Bring a sign! Ideas here.
