Jon Warren Lentz is an internationally published author (five of six books still in print, in a dozen languages), environmental entrepreneur, & consultant.

A cross-discipline creative, his background spans the gamut from ancient & modern languages & literature; sculpture & fine art; digital imaging & design; & business development & finance. A serial entrepreneur, he’s built two successful businesses – one in art & the other in technology – & has taught at the college level & on the national seminar circuit.

In 2007, Jon formed a sustainability consulting firm, Jon Warren Lentz, Inc., to reduce impacts from energy & industry upon land, water, air & wildlife. He offers high level strategic advice to select companies in the sustainability sector. Jon’s most recent initiative is to offer break-through solutions to reduce carbon emissions attributable to data centers & IT, for which he’s partnered with Alan Ball (formerly Qualcomm’s point man on environmental sustainability). The duo are marketing a massively disruptive technology, Secure Converged Solutions (SCS), developed by SAIC, which reduces IT carbon emissions by as much as 80%. In 2006 Jon founded UNcom, a 501C(3) Corporation, for the purpose of “Promoting public awareness & understanding of the state of the global environment with a goal of environmental preservation.” Jon’s a member of Sustainability Alliance of Southern California, CleanTECH San Diego, & serves as non-profit sponsor & Co-Chairman on the Board of the San Diego Green Business Network.
