Solving Water Scarcity in Southern California
- use solar, wind, and ocean energy to
- desalinate water
- pump water back into gravity fed water distribution
- We did not find any graphic today that represented all of the characteristics that we desired in a water desalination plant. A challenge for a graphic designer!
- use multiple filtration systems to allow for potable water reuse
- use public education systems to reinforce water conservation measures (nega-gallon)
- provide a Feed In Tariff for certified potable reused water suppliers
- reduce agricultural land use footprints and transportation costs via vertical agriculture practices in urban areas
