Jim Stone

Jim's career in environmental education and sustainability has spanned more than 30 years. Before joining the staff of WalkSanDiego he served as Vice President of Programs at the San Diego Natural History Museum where he was responsible for developing education programs and exhibitions that focused on the plants, animals and habitats of Southern California and the Baja peninsula. Jim sits on the Board of Directors of California Walks, a state-wide pedestrian advocacy organization.
Nicole Peill-Moelter

Nicole oversees the strategy and execution of sustainability initiatives across the company, including energy and greenhouse gas management and reporting, energy efficiency and electronic-waste reduction, employee engagement and stakeholder-awareness. She spends much of her time collaborating with engineers innovating around the energy efficiency, productivity and carbon intensity of Akamai’s global Intelligent Cloud Platform which represents 90% of Akamai’s environmental impact.

Jacques Chirazi, certified Biomimicry Professional has managed the California City of San Diego's Clean Technology Program since 2007. His focus is to create economic growth while fostering sustainability. One emerging initiative is to bridge cleantech with biomimicry. He develops and supports a clean technology cluster in San Diego. As a critical thinker, analyzing complex program and policies, he leverages his strong communication skills while collaborating across a diverse range of private, public and non-profit sector groups.

Mudd is Principal and Chief Operating Officer at Carrier Johnson + Culture, long known as one of San Diego's preeminent architectural, urban design, interior design and brand strategy communications firms. Mudd is also a licensed general contractor. Mudd is Chairman of San Diego's 2024 Exploratory Committee - the organization responsible for studying the feasibility of hosting the 2024 Summer and Paralympics Olympic Games in San Diego. The Committee will submit a final proposal the be selected as America's host city to the United States Olympic Committee in November.
