The San Diego Regional Data Library helps civic and social organizations get the data they need to tell their stories to the public, policymakers and their funders. We acquire data, clean and publish it, and run public data analysis projects to teach citizens how to use data to better understand their communities.
I like fixing things, and the most interesting things to fix are the inefficiencies in how people interact. I was born an engineer, so every daily irritation, delay or snafu was a puzzle to solve, and I’m thrilled to be able to apply that impulse for improvement to building better communities.
